Nine months of tax free Transitory Free Trade Zone was obtained by the company 3 A Producciones, responsible of the organization of the Andean Gaming Fair for the benefit of international exhibitors in the celebration of its tenth anniversary. The National Tax and Customs Office in Colombia – DIAN – with resolution number 00569 of 2008 authorized the entry of merchandise to the Corferia fairgrounds beginning January 15, with permanence in Colombia until October 3, 2008.
CORFERIAS, the General Management of the Corporation of Fairs and Exhibits, also authorized the use of pavilion number seventeen, where the last five fairs have taken place. It was not used last year because the Great Room was being enlarged. “This measure allows us to offer the best spaces in the convention center to our exhibitors and avoids the division of exhibit areas, which will continue being pleasant and comfortable for the potential clients who annually attend FADJA,” declared Jose Anibal Aguirre, General Director.
Aguirre also pointed out that “Retroactive economical measures stipulated in the rent contract were implemented, establishing the fees in Colombian pesos, due to the revaluation projection of the peso opposite the dollar, protecting the normal function and development of the traditional Gaming Fair.”
Almost ten thousand square meters of exhibits, academic and protocol events are added to the novelties which FADJA’s tenth edition presents, reaching a special position and recognition in the circle of great international gaming fairs.
